Working equitation tests horse and rider in phases: a dressage test, ease of handling (a course of obstacles ridden for precision and style), speed (a course of obstacles against the clock) and, at some competitions, cattle handling. A competition may run all of them or only some, so the phases on offer are listed on each event's page.

Levels run from the introductory classes through to the advanced grades. Where a club takes entries through Horsify, the dressage times and the running order are published back to the same event page.

Browsing events and creating a rider account are free; what you pay to enter is set by the event organiser. Some clubs include Horsify's rate in their entry fees; others show it as a platform fee at checkout. A club's platform fee applies to online payments only — pay the club directly by cash or bank transfer and nothing is added. Organisers list their events themselves, so the dates, classes and fees shown here are the organiser's own — tell us if something looks wrong.
