What the feed planner does
Morning feed, evening feed, or any meal structure you like. Every change is recorded in an immutable change log, so you can see exactly what changed, when, and by whom — useful when a horse goes off its feed or a vet asks what it's been on.
One tap creates a read-only link to the horse's feed card — hand it to an agistment manager, house-sitter or float driver. No login needed, and you can rotate the link any time to cut off old copies.
Your feeds, forage and supplements with a running ledger: what's on hand, how many days it will last at current feeding rates, and staged Low → Critical → Out alerts. Say "got 2 bags of Hygain" and the shed updates itself.
Put a price on a bag once and the feed card shows what each horse costs to feed per day and per week — and your shopping list estimates what the next feed-store run will cost.
Log body weight and Henneke body condition scores (1–9) over time and see the trend next to the diet. A condition entry also resets the body-condition care reminder.
The Feed Coach reads the card against the horse's latest weight and flags things worth a look: total intake outside the typical 1.5–2.5% of bodyweight, forage below 1.5% of bodyweight, and high-NSC feeds on a metabolic-flagged horse.

How much should a horse eat per day?
A horse typically eats 1.5-2.5% of its bodyweight in dry matter per day - roughly 7.5-12.5 kg for a 500 kg horse - with at least 1.5% of bodyweight as forage (hay or pasture). Horsify's Feed Coach checks each feed card against the horse's recorded weight and flags totals outside these ranges.
Does it help with laminitis-prone or metabolic horses?
Yes. Mark a horse as metabolic and Horsify warns when a ration line is a high-NSC feed - laminitis, EMS and insulin-resistant horses are generally kept under roughly 10-12% NSC. It's a guard rail, not a substitute for your vet or nutritionist.
Can it track how much feed I have left?
Yes. The feed shed tracks your inventory with a running ledger: current stock, days remaining at the rates on your feed cards, and staged low-stock alerts before you run out.
